Lots of questions about menu items not being “regular” work. We are going to post some examples of completed menu items and what subjects they address. Here’s the first one:
6th grader, Hayden, chose menu item 37 from the Distance Learning Activities(also under Read & Do on website).
37. Create a marble roller coaster.
She was also told to write her process down.
This uses her science and language arts skills.
To make it more challenging, for her age, she had to get the marble from the upstairs to the downstairs and land in a jar.
Please encourage your students to do these activities! We want them to work their minds!!!

The Parade will be moving south of Cook Street at 6 pm and will proceed north of Cook Street around 6:25-6:30ish. Listen for the horns. Wave to your teachers.
Don’t forget the parade tonight at 6 to kick off Virtual School next week! Make a sign, dress up, or just hang out in your yard! We will be by most streets! We can’t wait to see everyone....from a distance!!!

Students having trouble with accessing email via phone: Mrs. Barnes is working on it but: iPhone users will have to add their school email under the blue mail icon that comes on the iPhone. They can also go through safari and access email through google.com. Android users can either get the gmail app or go through their internet browser and access email through google.com.
Virtual School Kick-off Parade will be Thursday starting at 6pm! We will drive the bus routes. PLEASE DO NOT GATHER, just stay in your yards or by yourself along the routes! Hope to see all of our students and parents! Make a sign, dress up or be creative so we see you!!
