School starts Thursday, August 15th!! Open House is Tuesday, August 13th from 6-8pm at both campuses. We are looking forward to a great year!
Many times we are asked why the elementary is named Singleton Elementary. Thank you to the Singleton Family for donating this plaque that shares our school’s history. We will display it proudly!
Due to the School Improvement process we are undergoing, teachers are required to have additional professional development weekly. In order for this to happen, we will have EARLY RELEASE every Wednesday at 2:00pm. After a few adjustments to our school calendar, we will still meet all state attendance requirements. We hope that this will also give an afternoon for appointments in light of our new attendance policy. Thank you in advance for working with us to improve Arkoma Schools.

Want to apologize for the chaotic experience at school today dealing with athletic physicals. We failed to plan well enough in advance for the absence of key people in this type of function who have helped in the past. Learning process for us. Also want to thank those who pitched in and helped!—Cyal Walden

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association is implementing its dead period throughout the entire state, beginning from this Saturday up until July 7.
This dead period from the OSSAA applies to all athletic activities. Coaches and athletes are prohibited from contact with each other, and athletic facilities are prohibited from being used. Field maintenance is not prohibited during the dead period.
Any coach who violates this dead period will be suspended for the first half of the regular season.
Athletes who have qualified for a tournament earlier in the summer may participate in that tournament if it coincides with dead week.
